Public fundraising: managing your pot and donations

How to manage your fundraising pot, view donations, add offline donations and delete a pot

This article explains how to manage your fundraising pot and track donations received.

How will I know what donations my organisation has received?

Your Neighbourly page shows details of donations received to date along with a running total. You can also access a donations report from your dashboard — donations appear 30 days after they are made to allow for cancellations or Gift Aid changes.

To see all donations received, visit your Donation history page at neighbourly.com/myfundraising/transactions.

Why are some donations shown as anonymous?

Donors can choose not to display their name publicly when making a donation. These appear as anonymous on Neighbourly, but their details are still included in your donation reporting so you can reclaim Gift Aid where applicable.

How do I add a cash or cheque donation to a fundraising pot?

Go to the relevant fundraising pot and click 'Add money raised'. If the donation is from a company or branch you have a relationship with on Neighbourly, you can associate it with that company — they will receive a notification and be able to view the donation online.

How do I delete a fundraising pot?

If your pot has already received funds, it cannot be deleted as Neighbourly needs to keep it active for reporting purposes. If your pot has not yet received any donations, contact the Neighbourly team to request deletion.
