Help with logging in, forgotten passwords, browser issues, privacy settings and contacting support
This article covers common account, login, and privacy issues on Neighbourly.
Who should I contact for help?
Use the support chat on the Neighbourly website, or email community@neighbourly.com. The team typically replies within 48 hours.
Is my information private?
Yes. Neighbourly lets you control what information you share publicly, and your contact details are not displayed on the website. You can also anonymise your user profile.
To set your profile private, visit your Privacy settings at neighbourly.com/myaccount/privacy.
I've forgotten my password — how do I log in?
Go to neighbourly.com/accounts/login and click 'Forgot my password'. You will receive an email to reset it. If you have trouble, clear your browser cache and cookies and try again using the same email address you signed up with. If you no longer have access to that email address, contact the email owner to regain access.
I can't view the Neighbourly website — do I need a specific browser?
Neighbourly works on almost any modern browser. However, if you are running Internet Explorer versions 8, 9, or 10 on an older operating system such as Windows 7 or 8, you will need to update your browser.
Can under-16s use the site?
Children under 16 can use the site, but a parent or guardian will need to complete a permission form due to the site using location data.
