If you find a cause you're passionate about that doesn't have public volunteer opportunities listed, you can register your interest directly on their page.

Registered charities receive a blue verification tick on their profiles, while non-profit community groups receive a green verification tick. This verification process involves checking credentials and reviewing the organisation's work to ensure they are legitimate. All pages that are approved for fundraising are either registered charities or Community Interest Companies (CICs) and have been thoroughly vetted by the Neighbourly team.
Yes! If your employer is on Neighbourly, you can participate in their corporate volunteering programmes. Start by checking your company's Neighbourly page and campaign pages to view connected volunteer opportunities. Your company will provide you with a special link or volunteering code to sign up – this ensures your volunteer hours are correctly tracked and contribute to your company's community impact reporting. If your company isn't yet on Neighbourly but has a volunteer programme they'd like to run through the platform, suggest they contact Neighbourly's business team.
Once you've found a volunteer opportunity that interests you, simply click on it to view more details. If it's open to the public or through your company, you can register directly through the platform. Some opportunities may require approval from the charity before your place is confirmed. After signing up, you'll receive confirmation and reminder emails with all the details you need before the volunteering day.
You can make financial donations to charities and community groups on Neighbourly by visiting their pages and contributing to their fundraising pots. Many charities create specific fundraising campaigns for projects or needs, allowing you to see exactly what your donation will support. Payments are securely processed through Stripe, and UK taxpayers can add Gift Aid to increase the value of their donation at no extra cost.
